The 24 Hour Drone is an immersive experimental music event held annually at Basilica Hudson in Hudson, NY. My friend Adam introduced me to the event in 2017. The experience was life changing for me and while lying on the floor of the reclaimed factory building swimming in the sounds that swirled around me, the idea of Erase the Filter was born. The 2018 24 Hour Drone was held on April 28 and 29. Once again I attended the event with my friend Adam, but this time took my field recorder with me, captured some of the sounds and chatted with a couple of the artists who performed.
