GAS Coming to Union Transfer

German electronic/ambient musician, Wolfgang Voigt, is playing only six shows in the United States this spring, and one of them happens to be in Philadelphia. After cancelling a previously booked U.S. tour in December 2017 due to visa issues, only northeastern cities were rescheduled. Voigt has released music under 30 different monikers, but he will be appearing at Union Transfer on Monday, March 26, 2018 as GAS, arguably his most popular artist entity.

Voigt released four full length albums  and a couple EPs under the GAS name between 1995 and 2000. In 2017, Voigt released the latest full length GAS album called Narkopop, which picks up where the previous albums left off 17 years ago, maintaining similar washes of sweeping soundscapes and thick ambient drones layered over minimal techno rhythms.
