We’re excited to welcome two of the region’s best ambient and electronic acts to the The Sixth Floor, the intimate listening room performance space at the top of The Candy Factory.
Hotel Neon is an ambient trio based out of Philadelphia known for their beautiful sweeping soundscapes and guitar driven drones. The band recently released their third full length studio album called Means of Knowing.
Jason Sloan is an electronic media and sound artist, musician, composer and professor at the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, Maryland. Jason releases ambients works under his own name, and synth-pop/minimal wave under the name L’Avenir. His latest solo work is called Haven.
Both artists use video projections to complement their live musical performances.
